The passive trait of champions is that they get more exp in combat. Sunshine can reveal the invisible enemy and make your archers effective, while storm can make knights move even slower than heavy infantry. Since warlords often have only 1 useful active abilities (Masterful tactics), consider to learn a weather spell. So don't waste your points in the other two abilities. Generally, stamina and VP points are not vital important in this game. Liege and Senechal, if still have extra points, go logistic. If you warlord have lands (they should), also increase reign.ĭon't increase magic! Higher level spell lasts very long and you don't need much mana. Incease "Fight" to about 8, it keeps you stand in combat. In battles they buff your troops so that they can combat enemies far more stronger than them.
But remember they have to be the army leader to make these effective. Also they decrease the upkeep cost of your army (very important in the later period). They can increase your movement on compaign map. Warlord is useful in the conquest period of the game. I would only share things that tutorial did not tell you.
